I love writing reviews on making money on internet products or opportunities. All this while, I only write reviews on blogging products, selling on Ebay, affiliate marketing products and niche products people are selling on the internet.
This time I decided to check out on Amazon.
I have always assumed and look at Amazon as an online shopping portal that I can go to buy electronics, computers, apparel and accessories and many more. It is also a place where I can get products at bargain prices.
How wrong was I?
There is more to Amazon than meets the eye so I took some time to really get into the details to find out more about money making opportunities Amazon offers.
My extensive research finally led me to conclude that Amazon offers a great way to make money working online as a work at home jobs for moms.

Why Amazon for your making money on internet?
What most of us do not know is that Amazon has its own affiliate program. You can sign-up for free at http://associates.amazon.com. Besides, practically 10 out of 9 people I talked to know about Amazon. It is a recognizable brand name everyone knows and trust. The wide selection of products available on Amazon is outstanding. There is practically everything and anything.
One very important benefit of an Amazon affiliate program I personally experience is that customers who purchase from Amazon tend to buy other things as well. So getting more than one sale from the same customer per visit is very highly possible.
Amazon is a selling machine. The associate program has practically done everything for you. The only thing you need to do is generate traffic to the offers to make money.
Today, 11 September 2010, I had a surprise when a customer bought a Kindle eBook Reader worth $189. That earned me a commission worth $11.34. It might not look much but the sale came from my relationship website that was not promoting Kindle ebook reader at all – yet they stilll bought one!
I guess when a person end up at the Amazon website, they think “Hey, I was planning to buy this. I might as well get it now.”.
As an Amazon associate, there are literally thousands of products that you can sell and you will be surprise that for most of the products being sold at Amazon, the competition is very low.
The people at Amazon are amazing because they practically give you everything you need to know about a product right on their website so writing product reviews are really easy.
I know there are plenty of affiliate programs out there that are giving affiliates 75% to 85% affiliate commission but I do not get good conversion rate compared to being an Amazon affiliate. At the time of writing this, I am into my second month and my conversion rate is 4%. Yes, I agree Amazon’s commission is rather low but if you select your product properly a 4% conversion rate on traffic of a $200 product is money to me rather than a ZERO conversion rate for other high paying affiliate products.
So how?
If you are not familiar with Amazon, it is best that you head over to their website to familiarize yourself. I am considered “lazy”. I prefer to look for easier ways to do things and yet still make money. Hence, I concluded that when I joined as an Amazon Associate, I can make money with through:
- Promoting products available through niche marketing
- Promote products in the bestsellers, movers and shakers
- Promote seasonal products for special occasions like mother’s day, father’s day and Christmas
- Write quality product reviews sold at Amazon
- Sell my own books or products

Do a bit of keyword research using free tool to target generic keyword phrases and product specific phrases. The step-by-step instruction will teach you how to get at least 1,000 daily searcher a day for your product before you proceed.
Who are my competitors?
Sizing up your competition is important for you to succeed with your online business.
Typically, the ways most of us do keyword research is head over to http://google.com and key-in your keywords in quotes. Then check the competing websites. That is old skool.

All websites must have traffic coming to them to make money. Without traffic your best offer is useless. You will be taught 7 traffic methods on how to generate traffic to your Amazon product reviews. What I like about the 7 methods taught, is that all are free methods. The blueprint focus is more towards generating organic traffic, which is actually free traffic from search engines as this traffics are more targeted and will convert better.
Hey, but Amazon pays you peanuts
I was a little reluctant to work on what Paula and Wanda teaches initially because Amazon only pays 4% commission. This is considered rather low when you compare to other affiliate programs available online that pays between 50% to 75% commissions. Clickbank, Commission Junction, ShareASale and LinkShare are some great programs available.
After careful study, that is not the case because Amazon’s commission goes up progressively to 8.5%. It is still considered low though. To be honest, after doing this for 1 week, (I started on 26 July 2010), I find selling products on Amazon is much easier even with the low commission. Not forgetting, as mentioned earlier, the same customers usually end up buying more than 1 item. This is something I do not experience when I promote products from other affiliate programs.
I am not saying that you will receive the same results as I did. However, I do know that if you follow the blueprint, you should be able to do it too.

I think making money is a necessity these days, and we should grab whatever we can get. Problem is, most the letters you get through the post are a load of bollocks, so how is one really meant to make money? Well, I have actually find a completely intuitive way of making money – this can be done with your full time job, and I am currently working as an accountant fulltime as well as doing this, which brings in a total of $2500/month.
